Saturday 22nd SeptemberThe weather was mainly good, with a few showers, for the Festival. A few glitches did nothing to stop people enjoying themselves and feeling good. Artists came from all over the country to perform for free. FeelGood badges and balloons were given out. The Town Crier from Bromyard announced times and performances around the town. Lots of interesting vehicles joined in the cavalcade, which was led by Samba band, Banda Sem Nome. MHDC, in recognition of their part in the clean up operations, were invited to put their road cleaning & rubbish removal vehicles in the parade. A Fire Engine brought up the rear of the cavalcade. A superb audio/visual presentation about the floods and the aftermath, created by Peter Booth, was showing continuously all afternoon in the Tudor House Museum. |
